It’s a pretty simple practice!

You will need a vase and some colorful small pieces of paper.

You will note the event, the date, and feelings every time something significant happens. Then, you will put it inside the jar.

Also, you can write down positive news, experiences, or anything else that made you happy and enthusiastic about life!

You will open this jar at the end of the year and read all your notes!

Additionally, you will learn that no matter how hard life seems, it always contains moments of happiness and a genuine connection with loved ones. It would help if you had one jar and your imagination.

You can color your vase, decorate it or stick anything on it!

Take DIY materials such as ribbons, rhinestones, wooden hearts, and stickers, and create a place in your heart to host all the good things you will experience this year.

We could spend a lot of time analyzing how this happens and the mechanisms of our brains. But we prefer to experience everything described above and create personal experience. We suggest you do the same and see the results in life!

This practice can also become the means to feel better in everyday life. Whenever you don’t feel so good or your day doesn’t go as expected, you can open the jar and read one or more of cards. It is vital to connect with all the beautiful feelings you felt, the unity & the beautiful moments that life gave you.

Place the paper over your heart and hold it with both hands. Close your eyes and connect with this moment of your life; see yourself in this particular experience. Stay there as long as you need and when you are ready, open your eyes and fully experience the now moment. You will be surprised by how different your mood and feelings will be.
